Hello!
I am Chandrakala. I am a UI/UX Designer and Senior Graphic designer with total 9+ years of experience , during which I've worked across diverse industries, including e-commerce, fintech, and SaaS. My expertise lies in creating user-centric designs that are both visually appealing and highly functional. I specialize in end-to-end design processes, start with stake holder alignment, conducting user research and wireframing to prototyping and final delivery.

In addition to UI/UX design, I have a strong foundation in graphic design, which enables me to craft cohesive brand experiences across digital and print media. Over the years, I’ve led the design of responsive websites, mobile applications, and scalable design systems and creatives for social media promotions such as Paid Campaigns for FB, AdWords, Mail Campaigns and other social platforms. In Print media i have designed logos, brochures, flyers, digital paintings, advertising, business cards, infographics, mobile app layouts, standees, book covers, event banners and other marketing collaterals that align with business goals and user needs.

One of my key achievements includes redesigning a fintech platform, improving user retention by 25% through intuitive navigation and personalized experiences. I’m proficient in tools like Figma, Adobe Xd, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite. I also have knowledge to use Jira, Confluence & Miro. I have a strong understanding of accessibility standards and design principles.

Collaboration is central to my process. I’ve worked closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver solutions that drive results. As a senior designer, I’ve also mentored junior designers, fostering a culture of learning and creativity.

Prior to working at TCS , I worked with Amazon Development Center, Chennai and Targetorate for more than three years. I collaborated with the team in producing high quality retouched images. The prime focus during this period was Image Processing which includes producing shadows, reflections, patterns, duplications, masking, retouching & restoring, colour manipulation & matching templates for more look and feel of an image.

I’m passionate about staying updated with design trends and emerging technologies, and I enjoy applying innovative approaches to solve complex design challenges. I’m excited about opportunities where I can leverage my skills to create meaningful and impactful user experiences.
